Foxeo Terms of Service & EULA

1. Self-Management Software Classification

Foxeo is designed exclusively as automated self-restriction software for individuals who voluntarily choose to filter website domains and restrict selected applications on their personal devices. Foxeo does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, clinical evaluation, or healthcare services of any kind. Use of Foxeo does not establish a clinician-patient relationship.

2. Subscription Terms, Auto-Renewal & Pricing

Foxeo offers subscription plans (including monthly, annual, and lifetime access options where offered). All pricing is displayed prior to purchase confirmation.

• Free Trial Terms: Eligible store accounts receiving a 7-day free trial will have full feature access during the trial period. If not cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription at the selected plan rate.
• Billing & Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID Account or Google Play Account within 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period.
• Price Adjustments: Any price adjustments applied by store platforms require notice and store consent protocols in accordance with platform policies.

3. Cancellation & The Five-Minute Expiry Rule

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions at any time via your App Store account settings (on iOS) or Google Play Store account settings (on Android). Foxeo places no obstacle in front of your cancellation choice: store subscription management links lead directly to platform management screens with zero interposed surveys or friction.

The Five-Minute Expiry Rule: Active filtering is the subscribed service. If an active subscription expires or lapses without renewal, active application and website blocking functionality stops five minutes after the unrenewed period ends. Your complete blocklist configuration, settings, and delay parameters remain saved on your device and will re-arm immediately upon subscription renewal. Restoring a previously configured capability while lapsed is permitted, while adding new capabilities requires an active subscription.

4. Cooling-Off Delays & Intentional Friction

To support your self-restriction goals, protection modifications and removal requests are subject to intentional cooling-off delay timers (24 to 48 hours) configured by you. These delays operate natively on device to prevent impulsive changes during weak moments. Un-expired delay timers remain active and enforceable in accordance with local system vault rules.

5. Scope of Protection & Technical Limitations

Foxeo operates using official operating system APIs (including iOS Screen Time and ManagedSettings, and Android VpnService and UsageStats). Foxeo is designed to outlast short-term impulsive urges by providing robust device-level friction. However, no software utility can prevent physical hardware destruction, operating system reinstallation, or specialized device overrides. Known system limitations are disclosed within the app limits documentation.

6. End User License Agreement (EULA)

Subject to these Terms, Foxeo grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the application on compatible devices that you own or control. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, dissemble, or redistribute the software binary.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Foxeo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Foxeo and its developer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from app performance, operating system updates, or third-party platform changes.
